To the voters of Cincinnati an open letter as to the FAU Alternative MSD Operation Transition and Cooperation Agreement Commitment Letter on over $3B worth of contracting opportunities

This is a summary of the FAU Alternative MSD Operation Transition and Cooperation Agreement Commitment Letter (“Alternative Commitment Letter”) which is the result of an extensive work began in 2012 by Hargrove Engineering LLC and presented in summary to the BOCC on 2012 in regards to a fixed price proposal for SSO5 of $235M as part of the 2012/2013 South Fairmont Sustains proposal. FAU greatly appreciate the BOCC and City leadership and judgment in the creation of environment where the current parties to the MSD Case the City of Cincinnati (City) and the Board of the County Commissioners of Hamilton (BOCC) can request that the Court terminate the Protective Order so that they may engage in public discussion of this Alternative Commitment Letter. Under this proposal, the parties agree as follows:

This is a response to Cincinnati City Council has held a Special Meeting of Council on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 801 Plum Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202, Room 300.

The purpose of the meeting is to allow for a presentation and information session to discuss the proposed commitment letter between the City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County regarding the Metropolitan Sewer District. (commitment letter attached) Council shall also discuss the Special Council Committee for MSD Matters.
