FAU Women

Tiara Marie, born in Brooklyn, New York, and was raised in Baltimore, Maryland, is known among her peers and colleagues as a passionate advocate for justice, a woman of faith, creativity, and leadership. With an extensive background in event production, media, marketing, law, and portfolio management, Tiara has made it her mission to use her talents to connect change agents and provide them with pathways to make a global impact.

Tiara’s expertise in event production has led her to produce events at several embassies and Ambassador Residences in the Washington DC area, including The Embassy of France, The Embassy of Italy, The Embassy of Saudi Arabia, The Embassy of Mexico, The Embassy of Russia, The Embassy of Peru, The Embassy of Montenegro, The Embassy of Israel, and The Residence of The Ambassador of Tunisia, among many others. Her experience as an International Marketing Representative for a renowned travel company also took her around the world, where she planned and implemented marketing strategies and campaigns that inspired her company’s target audience to explore the world.

As the Managing Director of Friends of the African Union Women, a global American civil society organization, and Co-Founder and Executive Producer of her Multimedia company Project Rewired Global, Tiara is committed to empowering others to become agents of change. She is also the Co-founder and Creative Director of The Easley Group, a web design firm. Recently, Tiara through, FAU’s partner United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization Center for Peace, became eligible to attend and contribute to the 67th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW67) at United Nations Headquarters, New York March 6th, 2023 through March 17th, 2023.

Tiara’s primary goal is to inspire her generation to walk in their purpose and use their Kingdom inheritance to influence others to become agents of change. As an agent of change and advocate of justice, Tiara has the heart to provide people of African descent with access to opportunities that would help in the formation of a #JustEconomy. Tiara is a leader in community reinvestment, and Friends of the African Union (FAU) is a member of the National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC), which, along with members like FAU, has created since 2016 $639B in Federal Reserve Bank Community Benefit Agreements (CBAs). Through her role as Managing Director of Friends of the African Union Women, she is leading the charge for women to access funds for homes, businesses, their community, and the philanthropic goals of creating a #JustEconomy for black women using the Aforementioned CBAs.

In addition, Tiara is committed to making a positive difference in the world and her passion for empowering others is a testament to her remarkable character and leadership as she starts FAU operations in Dallas using those CBAs through the new FAU smartWISE Community Reinvestment Coalition of Dallas.

Tiara provides these opportunities through various channels, including funding opportunities through her partnership with FAU and NCRC, grassrooots leadership development, partnerships, media planning and exposure, storytelling, and access opportunities. Tiara currently resides in Dallas, Texas, where she enjoys traveling, helping her community, and attending her church – The Potter’s House of Dallas.
