Summary
Friends of the African Union and (FAU) the World Conference of Mayors (WCM) through its Committee on the United Nations Permanent Forum on People of African Descent will discuss Financing Reparatory Justice for the Global African Community through the Prosperous Coalition. We will discuss creating a grassroots Financing for Development proposal through the cities of the world as we propose the United States Compact for Democracy with a #JustEconomy.
Our focus today is how this vision integrates with the new world order being formed so as to integrate at its core Financing for Reparatory Justice as a 75 year Global solution with Nation States, Territory States, City States, Corporate States, Foundations, Trusts and Faith Alliances.
Hershel Daniels Junior, Chairman of the Friends of the African Union and the World Conference of Mayors Committee on the United Nations Permanent Forum on People of African Descent will moderate the discussion on the potential for a funding mechanism involving a trillion dollars annually for the next 75 years. He will outline a plan to engage with African leaders during a proposed conference in June 2025, coinciding with Juneteenth, as the second US African Leaders Summit, as authorized by law in the US The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025.
This briefing on Financing Reparatory Justice for the Global African Community at the 4th session of the United Nations Permanent Forum on People of African Descent will cover our proposal on the United States Compact for Democracy with a #JustEconomy from December 2025 to December 2100 that contains (1) The Black Folks Plan (USA) with a $6 Trillion Dollar use of proceeds framework (2) The Global African Community in the Diaspora is detailed in the $4 Trillion Dollar Black Folks Plan for the African Diaspora and (3) the Black Folks Plan for Agenda 2063 which is a $400B a year implementation for member states of the African Union.
FAU is a U.S.A. Constitutional law civil society organization emphasizing the rule of law as a core principle as we were the first 21st century organization in the United States of America created around the U.S. Senate ratification of the General Act in 1930 from the Conference in Berlin, which was signed in 1885, meaning it officially became part of American law and as a key part of how the U.S.A. approached Africa in the 20th century. Now we will write a 21st century approach around the FAU proposed United States Compact for Democracy with a #JustEconomy (#TheCompact).
#TheCompact is based on a superset of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) which is a American law enacted in 1977 (12 U.S.C. 2901) as detailed in FAU Chairman’s first book, the Black Folks Plan, how did we get here?: A $6T #BlackFolksPlan for a #JustEconomy (ISBN :979-8371149725). FAU as a member of a national 700 plus member coalition that has created over $580B in CRA based bank agreements will leverage the coalition’s experience in the work.
